This policy explains how PlayPlot ("we", "us") collects, uses, stores, transfers and protects your personal information when you use the PlayPlot app and this website, and the rights you can exercise.

1. Data controller and contact

The data controller under this policy, including its registered name, registered address and contact email, is listed at the end of this page under "Data controller". If you have any question or request about how we handle personal information, you can reach us at that email.

2. Information we collect

To provide interactive playback and account services, we process: account information (such as your phone number or third-party sign-in identifier), device and log information (device model, OS version, crash logs), and your in-app activity (unlocked series, endings reached, playback progress). Payments are handled by the app stores or third-party payment providers; we do not store your full card number or payment password.

3. How we use it

We use this information to: sync playback and progress, validate unlocks and orders, diagnose issues and improve stability, and — where you have agreed — notify you about releases and new series.

4. Third-party services and SDKs

We use third-party services and SDKs for sign-in, payments, push notifications, crash reporting and analytics (for example, in-app purchases through the app stores, push and analytics providers). These providers can access only the information necessary to deliver their services and are bound by their own privacy policies.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share the minimum necessary data with service providers only where needed for payments, push notifications and analytics, and we may disclose information where required by law.

6. Retention and security

We protect your information with measures such as encrypted transmission (for example HTTPS/TLS), access controls and least privilege, and we retain it for the periods below: account information for as long as your account exists, and for 30 days after deletion before it is erased or anonymized; order and unlock records for business and tax compliance purposes, for no longer than 3 years; and crash and log information for no longer than 90 days. After these periods we delete or anonymize the data.

7. International transfers

Our servers may be located outside your country or region and your information may be transferred abroad for processing. Where such transfers occur, we apply safeguards required by applicable law, such as contractual commitments and encryption, so that your information receives a level of protection no lower than promised in this policy.

8. Your rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law — including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) — you have the right to access, correct, delete and copy your personal information, to restrict or object to certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to exercise these rights free from discrimination. You can review and update your account information and manage notification permissions in the app, or send a request to the email below; we normally respond within 30 days.

9. Minors

PlayPlot is not directed at children under 13. If we learn we have collected a child's information, we will delete it promptly.

10. Updates

We may update this policy as the product changes. Material changes will be surfaced in the app or on this page.
